Police arrest two in stabbing incident, Lower Sackville, N.S.

Police are investigating an assault causing bodily harm where an adult male suffered serious injury when stabbed with a knife.

Yesterday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m. Halifax District RCMP responded to a 911 call where a male in his mid-twenties was stabbed.

A short time later a 25-year-old male was arrested without incident at a nearby residence. A 19-year-old female was arrested today in Middleton for her involvement in the incident. The victim and the accused are known to each other.

The two accused are facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and other Weapons related offences and scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Tuesday September 8, 2015.

The investigation is being led by the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
