The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SSISCEU) arrested two men in relation to a drug search yesterday.
On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2 p.m., the SSSISCEU, with assistance from the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia and Lunenburg District RCMP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence on Camperdown Road in Lapland.
Police seized in excess of 2 pounds of processed marijuana and two unsecured firearms. The Lapland men, ages 62 and 27, were arrested without incident. Both are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Unsafe Storage of Firearms and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on May 20th, 2015.
The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit is comprised of members of the Bridgewater Police Service and the Lunenburg District RCMP.
