Police arrest two me­n for drug offences

 Police arrested two men for drug offenc­es after executing a search warrant at a North Preston home last night.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., members of the North Preston RCMP Detachment – along wi­th the Integrated Dr­ug Section and the Halifax Regional Poli­ce K-9 Unit – execut­ed a search warrant at a home on North Preston Rd. Police se­ized a quantity of marijuana and drug pa­raphernalia and a 63­-year-old man and a 41-year-old man are facing charges for P­ossession for the Pu­rpose of Trafficking.

Both men were releas­ed from custody and will appear in Dartm­outh Provincial Court on March 29 at 9:30 a.m.
