Police Ask For Help Identifying Suspicious Person in Dartmouth

Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious man who was going door to door in the area of Topsail Blvd. and Dorothea Dr. Dartmouth over the past two weeks asking residents about alarm systems.
Yesterday afternoon at 4:00 pm a male approached a residence on Topsail Blvd and asked the 17 year old resident if she wanted to go for a drive. This male had been in the neighborhood over the past few weeks trying to sell alarms. When the girl told him no, he tried to grab her arm and pull her out of the doorway, but she closed the door on him and called the police.
He is described as white, 5’9 – 5’11 in height, 20-30 years old, with light brown hair, wearing a black  hoodie, blue jeans and sneakers.
