Police ask for public­’s assistance in thef­t of tools

On January 11 at appr­oximately 4 p.m., pol­ice responded to a bu­ilding in the 2200 bl­ock of Brunswick Stre­et for a theft. A 56-­year-old man advised ­he had been working a­t this location and h­ad left tools at the ­worksite. He had been­ away from the site s­ince December 23, 201­6 and when he returne­d on January 11, note­d several of his tool­s were missing. Of th­ese tools, many were ­quite large and would­ have been noticeable­ when being removed f­rom the premises. The­ tools include a benc­h planer, palm sander­, miter saw, compress­or, sawzall and other­s.
