Police ask for public’s assistance – Joseph Cameron homicide investigation

Investigators with the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking for the public’s assistance in connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder of Joseph Douglas Cameron.

On March 29 at approximately 5:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Spring Avenue and Mount Edward Road in Dartmouth and found 20-year-old Joseph Cameron of Dartmouth deceased on the sidewalk.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have seen a dark blue 2012 Kia Rondo in the area of Spring Avenue and Mount Edward Road FB_IMG_1462540918074between midnight and 5:20 a.m. on March 29.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle or who has information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
