Police asking for public’s assistance in Chelsie Probert homicide investigation
Investigators with the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking for the public’s help with the investigation of the homicide of 18-year-old Chelsie Probert.
At approximately 10 p.m. on June 6, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a female in medical distress on a pathway in the 0-100 block of Albro Lake Road.
Officers located an 18-year-old female who required immediate medical assistance. EHS transported the female to hospital where she later passed away from her injuries. The Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators continue to canvass the neighborhood.
Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who has video surveillance from the streets surrounding the pathway.
