Police charge Truro man with Attempted Murder

 

May 7, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . Members of the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS) have charged a 20-year-old man from Truro with Attempted Murder following a stabbing incident in Cole Harbour.
 
At 2:26 a.m. yesterday morning, RCMP in Cole Harbour responded to a report of a stabbing in the parking lot at 900 Cole Harbour Road.  Officers located a 27-year-old male victim suffering from a stab wound.  He was transported to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.  The accused fled the area in a vehicle which was located a short time later at a home on Phillips Lane in Cole Harbour.  Officers located and arrested the 20-year-old male from Truro without incident.
 
Dustin Allison is appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court today on the following charges: Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous.
