Police have charged a Dartmouth woman for selling cannabis after a search of an illegal cannabis dispensary in Halifax today.
Shortly after 10 a.m. members of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search warrant at the Canna Clinic located at 1593 Dresden Row in Halifax. Investigators seized over $7,000, in excess of 400 grams of cannabis and over 500 cannabis infused products.
A 21-year-old Dartmouth woman has been charged with possession for the purpose of distributing contrary to section 9(2) of the Cannabis Act and possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling contrary to section 10(2) of the Cannabis Act. She is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
