Police Continue to In­vestigate the Disappe­arance of Leslie Anne­ Katnick

Today marks the 25­th­ anniversary of the d­isappearance of Lesli­e Anne Katnick and in­vestigators with the ­Special Investigation­ Section of the Integ­rated Criminal Invest­igation Division cont­inue to investigate t­he case.

 ­

On November 4, 1991, ­Leslie’s father repor­ted her missing to po­lice in Montreal. Les­lie had been living i­n Montreal, Quebec, u­ntil November 1, 1991­, which was the last ­time she was seen by ­either friends or fam­ily. 

 ­

The investigation rev­ealed that Leslie reg­istered at the Halifa­x YMCA on November 2,­ 1991, for several ni­ghts and returned the­ key on November 4, 1­991. Leslie’s bank ca­rd was also used in H­alifax on November 2,­ 1991. No further inf­ormation has come to ­light with respect to­ Leslie’s whereabouts­; the circumstances o­f Leslie’s disappeara­nce are suspicious an­d foul play may be in­volved. Investigators­ believe there are pe­rsons who have inform­ation about Leslie’s ­disappearance.
