Police Continue to Investigate fatal Vehicle & Pedestrian Collision

Police are continuing to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that occurred on July 25 in Halifax.

At 12:55 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a pedestrian/vehicle collision involving an SUV and a 69-year-old woman who was crossing Oak Street in the area of Oxford Street.​ The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on July 28.​ The 31-year-old female driver was not injured.
