Police Continue to Investigate Fatal Vehicle & Pedestrian Collision

Police are continuing to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that occurred last week in Halifax.

On October 11 at 8:18 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a 66-year-old male pedestrian in the 6700 block of Quinpool Road in Halifax. The vehicle was driving westbound on Quinpool Road when the collision occurred. The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on October 14. The driver of the vehicle did not report any injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
