Last Thursday was the fifth anniversary of the murder of Kevin Farren and the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.
On March 9, 2012 at 2:26 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to 56 Havenbrook Hill in Portland Hills subdivision in Dartmouth in relation to the death of a man. The victim was later identified as 61-year-old Kevin Farren of Waverley, who worked as an accountant for the owner of 56 Havenbrook Hill. The death was ruled a homicide.
