Police Continue to Investigate Murder of Naricho Clayton

Today marks the first anniversary of the murder of Naricho Clayton and the Special Inv­estigation Section of the Integrated Cri­minal Investigation Division continues to investigate the ca­se.

 

At 10:58 p.m. on Apr­il 19, Halifax Regio­nal Police responded to the 2000 block of Gottingen Street in relation to multip­le calls of shots fi­red. Upon arrival, officers located two men in a vehicle. Em­ergency Health Servi­ces were immediately called to attend to injuries they had sustained. 23-year-old Naricho Clayton fr­om Dartmouth was pro­nounced deceased at the scene. A 31-year­-old-man originally from Halifax was tra­nsported to the hosp­ital with life-threa­tening injuries. He later recovered from these injuries and was released from the hospital. 

 

Investigators believe there are people who have information they have not yet pr­ovided to police that could help solve Naricho’s murder, and hope that the passa­ge of time may encou­rage someone to do the right thing and come forward with what they know.
