Police continue to investigate murder of Nathan Cross, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

Police continue to investigate the murder of Nathan Cross that occurred three years ago.

On April 24th, 2011, RCMP responded to reports of shots fired at a residence on Churchill Terrace in North Preston.

When officers arrived, they located Nathan Cross unconscious and unresponsive at the noted address. Mr. Cross, 21, had been standing outside with a group of people when a suspect fired several shots that struck him. Mr. Cross was transported to hospital by emergency workers and pronounced dead as the result of the gunshot wound he received.

Investigators believe that there are witnesses who have information that could result in arrests and possible charges.

The Department of Justice is offering a cash reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible. All calls will be recorded. The amount of the award will be based on the investigative value of the information provided.
