Police Continue to Investigate Murder of Rickey Walker

Tomorrow will mark the second anniversary of the murder of Rickey Walker, and the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.

At approximately 2:50 a.m. on September 1, 2016, 48-year-old Rickey Walker was located in medical distress behind John McNeil Elementary School at 62 Leaman Drive in Dartmouth.

He was subsequently transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. An autopsy confirmed Rickey’s death as a homicide.

Investigators believe there are people who have information that could help solve his murder, and hope that the passage of time encourages someone to do the right thing and come forward with what they know.
