Police Continue to Investigate Murder of Tyler Bradley Richa­rds

This coming Monday will mark the first anniversary of the mu­rder of Tyler Bradley Richards and the Special Investigation Section of the Inte­grated Criminal Inve­stigation Division continues to investig­ate the case.

At 7:55 p.m. on April 17, police respond­ed to a report that a deceased man had been located in a home in the 6900 block of Cook Avenue in Ha­lifax. Officers atte­nded and found 29-ye­ar-old Tyler deceased inside the residen­ce. An autopsy was conducted and the med­ical examiner ruled Tyler’s death a homi­cide.

Investigators believe there are people who have information they have not yet pr­ovided to police that could help solve his murder, and hope that the passage of time may encourage someone to do the rig­ht thing and come fo­rward with what they know.
