Halifax Regional Police is again asking for the public’s help in locating two missing men.
Fifty-one-year-old Reid Ross Chesney of Dartmouth was last seen in the 2100-block of Barrington Street in Halifax at 4 p.m. on April 4. Reid is described as a white man, 5’11”, slim build, with long auburn hair and a long auburn/grey beard. Reid was last seen wearing a blue hat and a navy trench coat.
Sixty-year-old Joseph Stanley Amiro of Halifax was last seen on May 1 at 8:41 p.m. leaving the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Joseph was reported missing to police on the evening of May 8. Joseph is described as a white man, 5’, thin build, with grey hair and grey facial hair on his chin. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and walks with a copper colored cane with black electrical tape on the bottom.
Police do not believe that the two missing person cases are connected.
There is no information to suggest that Reid or Joseph have met with foul play, however, police are concerned for their well-being. Officers request that either of these men or anyone with information on their whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
