Police continue to seek info about vehicle-pedestrian collision

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment continue to seek information about the vehicle of interest that collided with a pedestrian.

On November 22, at approximately 8:20 p.m., RCMP officers, fire services, and EHS responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Cole Harbour that resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian.

On December 1, the driver of the white sedan, believed to have left the scene, was identified. Information gathered indicates that attempts were made to avoid the victim who had come to rest in the roadway. At this time, no criminal charges are anticipated for the driver of this vehicle.

As the investigation continues, RCMP officers are asking anyone with dash cam footage of the area near the intersection of Cole Harbour Rd. from Caldwell Rd between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to come forward.
