Investigators in the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing to search property in Lower Truro as part of the on-going investigation into the homicide of Taylor Samson.
Today, investigators are joined by Colchester Search & Rescue who will be assisting in a search of the area. Additionally, members of Colchester District RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Service teams continue to assist us with the search.
Halifax Regional Police is asking the media and the public to cooperate with police at the scene and, avoid entering any private property in the area to ensure that the search and overall police investigation are not compromised.
