Police continuing to investigate sudden death

Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death in Halifax that was reported this morning.

At approximately 7:05 a.m. police responded to the 0-100 block of Washmill Lake Drive in Halifax to a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased man on the ground in the parking lot of 45 Washmill Lake Drive.

The man is 35-years-old and from Ontario. We are not releasing his name at this time.

An autopsy is scheduled for today, and the investigation, led by the Special Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Division is ongoing.
