Police arrest youth in relation to robbery call

Police have arrested two youths in relation to a robbery in Dartmouth this afternoon.

At approximately 12:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a sensory irritant being sprayed in one of the open areas of 60 Alderney Drive. Further investigation provided that a man had been robbed and sprayed with the sensory irritant by a group of youths.

A bystander pulled the fire alarm at that location causing the area to be evacuated.

Two youths were arrested a short time later and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face robbery charges.
