Police have charged a man for a driving incident that occurred in Halifax

Police have charged a man for a driving incident that occurred earlier today in Halifax.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. police were called to the area of Plateau Crescent in Halifax for a report of a vehicle that was being driven erratically including driving on the sidewalk.

Shortly after, another report was received that a vehicle of the same description had struck another vehicle in the parking lot of 278 Lacewood Drive in Halifax and then fled the area.

Information was then received that a similar vehicle had crashed into a residence on Southhill Drive in Halifax and the driver had fled on foot.​

The driver was located a short time later in the area and was arrested without incident. There were no reported injuries related to the incident.

Twenty-six-year-old Todd Michael Kennedy of Halifax is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow to face charges of dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
