Police in Pictou County charge man with trafficking, Stellarton, N.S.

The Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) has charged a 51-year-old man with trafficking. On April 28th 2015, at approximately 3 p.m., the PCISCEU, along with the assistance of the Stellarton Police Service, arrested a Stellarton man for trafficking in a controlled substance.

On April 28th 2015, at approximately 3 p.m., the PCISCEU, along with the assistance of the Stellarton Police Service, arrested a Stellarton man for trafficking in a controlled substance.

Police later executed a search warrant at his residence on Bridge Avenue and seized a quantity of prescription pills.

The man was released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on July 27th, 2015. He is facing charges of Possession and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. The investigation is continuing.
