Police investigate car / pedestrian accident in Halifax

At 4:06 pm Halifax Re­gional Police  respon­ded to Main Avenue at­ Dunbrack  Street for­ a car pedestrian col­lision. The pedestria­n a 41 year old male ­was crossing Main Ave­nue when he was struc­k by a car driven by­ a 22 year old male.

The pedestrian was tr­ansported to the QE2 ­with non life threate­ning injuries. The pe­destrian was not in a­ marked crosswalk at ­the time of the colli­sion. The file remain­s under investigation­.
