One suspect is in custody following a break and enter in Bedford this morning.
At 1:44 a.m., police responded to1650 Bedford Highway, the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission for a break and enter in progress.
A short time later officers located the suspect inside a residence in the 100 block of Rutledge Street in Bedford. He was taken into custody without incident and the stolen merchandise recovered.
A 30 year old male who is know to police is facing the following charges: Break and enter, mischief, possession of stolen property, breach of probation and two counts of breaching an undertaking.
He will have a bail hearing later this morning.
