Police Investigate a Weapons Call – Bedford

At 12:38 a.m. 28 August, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured male with a stab wound in the 200 block of Innovation Drive Bedford.​ Patrol officers along with a Police Service Dog responded to the area and conducted a through search of the area.​ Officers located the injured male (18 yrs), with a non-life-threatening injury to a hand.​ Police also located three other teenage males believed to be involved on Innovation Drive.​

The injured male has been transported to the hospital and police are not looking for any other suspects.​ Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.​ It is not known at this time if charges are pending.
