Police investigate after bank robbery in Halifax

On October 25 at 2:31pm a lone man entered the Scotiabank at 6005 Coburg Rd, Halifax. Once inside the man provided the teller with a note advising that he was in possession of a firearm and demanded cash.

This man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a male with darker skin, 5”9” in height and heavy build. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, green cargo pant and was carrying a light blue reusable shopping bag.

No one was injured during robbery and members of patrol.

Forensic Identification Section and the Integrated General Investigation Section continue to investigate the matter.
