Halifax District RCMP is investigating an armed robbery in Lower Sackville.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. last evening, two men with a weapon entered a gas station on Sackville Dr. where they demanded cigarettes. They left with several bags of cigarettes and no one was injured.
One of the men is described as white with an average build, about 5-foot nine tall, and wearing a red shirt. The other man is described as black with a heavy build, about 5-foot ten tall, and wearing a green jacket.
Police arrived on-scene quickly and were assisted by a Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit. The investigation is ongoing and is now being led by the Integrated General Investigation Section.
