Police Investigate Assaults with Weapon – Dartmouth

At 8:20 a.m. 8 January, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured male with a stab wound in the 50 block of Roleika Drive Dartmouth.​ Patrol officers along with a Police Service Dog responded and located a 40-year-old male with a non-life-threatening stab wound.​

Officers conducted a thorough search of the area, but could not locate the suspect.​

The injured male has been transported to the hospital.​ This incident is not random and both parties are known to each other.​

Police have identified a suspect and are actively searching for the suspect.​ There is no suspect description at this time.​ Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.
