Police Investigate Break & Enter with Weapon – Dartmouth

Around 12:45 p.m. 9 December, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress, in the 300 block of Windmill Road Dartmouth. The suspect was armed with a bat, forced his way into an apartment and assaulted the resident.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim, a 33 year old male, was transported to the hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. It is believed the suspect and victim are known to one another.

The suspect is described as: Black male, 50 years old, thin build, approximately 5’6″-5’9″, wearing a red & white sweater.

Officers are searching for the suspect. Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating.

Man charged in relation to two homicides

Annapolis District RCMP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash
