Police Investigate Break & Enters into Laundry Rooms – Arrest Suspect

10:55 p.m. 11 April, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter into a laundry room in 100 block of Evans Avenue Halifax. Plain clothes officers from the Quick Response Unit set up surveillance and located the suspect on foot. Officers arrested a 34 year old male from Halifax, without incident and located Break Tools in the suspect’s possession.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating and believe the suspect is responsible for similar recent Break & Enters. The 34 year old male is held for Halifax court and will be charged with Break & Enter, Possession of Break Tools and Breach of Probation.
