At 2:10 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a reports of a single vehicle collision into a utility pole with an unconscious driver at Mount Edward Road / Cranberry Crescent, Dartmouth.

Officers confirmed a shooting had taken place and the adult male driver sustained life-threatening injuries. Multiple officers are currently on scene, including K-9, and Forensic Identification members. We ask that people avoid the area.
