At approximately 1:40 a.m. this morning officers responded to a robbery at the Circle K convenience store located at 15 Fairfax Drive in Halifax .​

A male entered the business gesturing as if he was in possession of a weapon.​ He then rushed in behind the counter stealing cash and cigarettes. The staff member was uninjured during this incident.​

The suspect fled the store heading in behind the business towards Fairfax Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height, wearing a ball cap, grey hoodie, black jacket, grey sweatpants and black shoes.​

The incident remains under investigation.
