Police Investigate Fatal Industrial Accident

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is currently on scene at a fatal industrial accident that occurred this morning in Halifax.
At 11:03 a.m., HRP, EHS and HRM Fire and emergency personnel responded to 295 Lacewood Drive after a 48-year-old man fell from the roof of the building. He was rushed to hospital by EHS where he was pronounced dead. Investigators from the HRP Forensic Identification Section, along with investigators from the Department of Labour, are currently on scene investigating the incident.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending official identification and next of kin notification
