Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.
Today at approximately 8:15 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Petro Canada located at 240 Victoria Road, Dartmouth. Staff stated that a woman entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot. The employee was not injured. The suspect is described as a white female, 20 years of age, slender build, wearing a black jacket, black hat and black scarf.
Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division were called to the scene and currently have one person of interest in custody.
