Police Investigate Graffiti on Churches – Halifax

At 10:00 a.m. 1 April, Halifax Regional Police received a report of a Property Damage (Graffiti) at Saint Anges Church, 6903 Mumford Road Halifax.

At 11:00 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a second report of Property Damage (Graffiti) at Saint Benedict Church, 45 Radcliffe Drive, Halifax.

The two incidents are similar with offensive graffiti in red paint and occurred over night.

Both investigations are ongoing and at this time appear to be related.

Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
