Police investigate McDonald’s car crash

Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred earlier this afternoon in Dartmouth.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. police responded to a vehicle that had struck the McDonald’s restaurant located at 645 Windmill Road in Dartmouth. The vehicle struck the building and came to rest inside the restaurant striking a person who was seated inside. The patron inside the restaurant was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver has been arrested and the incident remains under investigation. Further information will be provided when it becomes available.
