Police investigated a pedestrian/vehicle collision in Halifax on Sunday afternoon where a pedestrian was charged.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on February 3 police responded to a report of a pedestrian/vehicle collision in the 5500 block of Cornwallis Street in Halifax. The pedestrian, a 62-year-old Halifax man, was crossing Cornwallis Street, when he was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lane.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. He was issued a summary offence ticket for crossing a roadway outside of a crosswalk zone, failing to yield to traffic.
