Police investigate property damage

Police are investiga­ting an incident of property damage to a business that occur­red sometime over the weekend in Halifax.


Today at 1:42 p.m., police received a re­port of a business having a number of sm­all holes in their front window in the 300 block of Herring Cove Road. The compl­ainant stated that the damage was just noted today but likely occurred over the weekend. It’s believ­ed the damage was ca­used by a pellet gun.

Police believe that this incident may be connected to numero­us bus shelters that were damaged over the weekend and are asking anyone with in­formation to call 902-490-5016.Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stop­pers by calling toll­-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns­.ca or texting a tip – Tip 202 + your messa­ge to 274637. Police remind citizens to call 902-490-5020 if they witness any suspicio­us activity.
