Police investigate robberies in Halifax and Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery ​ that occurred last evening in Dartmouth.

At ​ approximately 10:30 pm last evening officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 100 block of Main Street, Dartmouth.

Two suspects entered the business and told the clerk not to activate the alarm.​ They moved behind the counter and took a quantity of cigarettes and cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspects were both wearing masks, one reported as a white male.​ They were both approximately 5’8”.​ One was wearing a black leather jacket with red sleeves, black pants and black sneakers with white soles.​The second suspect wore a dark winter coat and light pants.​ One suspect was wearing black skeleton gloves.

No weapon was reported.

At 00:56 am officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 0 to 100 block of Titus Ave, Halifax

The suspect entered a the business and produced a knife demanding cash.​ ​

The suspect fled on foot towards Main Ave after receiving a small quantity of cash.

No persons were injured in the incident.

The suspect was described as a short, thin male, wearing a green reflective jacket and baseball cap.
