Police Investigate Robbery & Arrest Two Suspects – Halifax

At 3:00 a.m., 16 January, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred on the 2040 block of Gottingen Street, Halifax. .

Two males assaulted and knocked unconscious a 25-year-old male and then fled on foot with personal property from the victim.

The suspects are known to the victim and were last seen heading North on Gottingen Street.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

A few minutes later at 3:35 a.m. officers located and arrested the two suspects returning to the scene of the robbery.

The suspects are 23 and 32 years old from Halifax and are both held for court facing a robbery charge.  The 32 year old is also facing a Breach of Probation charge.
