Police investigate robbery, Fall River, N.S.

The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a robbery that occurred just after midnight in Fall River.

Preliminary investigation determined that an 53-year-old male was sitting alone in the parking lot of Tim Horton’s on Highway 2, Fall River when a vehicle with two male occupants pulled in beside him.

The driver of the vehicle got out and asked the male for a cigarette and then attempted to grab a gold chain from his neck. A minor altercation occurred which resulted in the suspects leaving the scene. They did not get the victim’s chain but did steal his iPhone.

The suspects are described as white males with buzz cuts. The suspect driver was approximately 40-years-old wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The suspect passenger was wearing a white tank top with a blue outline and grey stripes. The suspects were in a late 1990’s model yellow Subaru WRX. During the altercation, one of the suspects called the other by the name Kevin.
