Police investigate robbery in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred on September 15, 2017 at 3:20 p.m. in Dartmouth.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. on September 15, 2017 officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Lawtons Drug Store on Primrose Street, Dartmouth. A man entered the store and demanded medication, the male indicated he had a weapon, however none was observed. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white man 5’5-5’7 feet tall wearing a dark hooded shirt, khaki pants, black hat and carrying a backpack. He fled the store on foot.
The Halifax Regional Police / RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is currently investigating.
