Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax last week.
On February 9 at approximately 9:40 p.m. officer responded to a robbery that had occurred in the area of Duffus Street and Novalea Drive. Two youths approached a man, who was traveling on a Halifax Transit bus, and demanded his property. One of the youths produced a knife as they threatened the man. The man fled the bus and was initially chased by the suspects before they fled the area on foot empty-handed.
The suspect with the knife is described as a Black male youth in his teens, approximately 5’7″ tall with a slender build, wearing a white hooded sweater, black pants and a bandana.
The second suspect is described as a Black male youth in his teens, approximately 5’5″ tall, with curly hair, wearing a blue hooded sweater and red pants.
