Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax last night.
At approximately 8 p.m. on April 18th, officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred near Hollis and South streets. A man, with what was believed to be a knife, approached the victim and demanded his property. The suspect fled the area on foot with the victim’s property. The victim was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin build, moustache and wearing a black jacket, black ski mask, grey pants, black shoes and white socks.
Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
