Police investigate school bus head-on collision

HRP release:

Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus this morning.

At approximately 7:45 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Barrington Street at North Street for a two-vehicle collision involving a school bus and a Dodge Ram truck. The vehicles collided head on at a low speed. Traffic flow was affected for a brief time, but the intersection has since been cleared and the normal flow of traffic has resumed.

The driver of the truck was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to vehicle already in intersection when making left turn.
