Police investigate serious assault in Dartmouth


Shortly before 10pm this evening, police responded to an address on Gaston Rd, Dartmouth where a 59-year-old male resident was found with significant injuries.


Evidence at the scene would indicate that the male was a victim of an assault at that location. EHS attended and the male was transported to the QEII for treatment.


Detectives with the Halifax Regional Police Forensic Identification Section and the Integrated General Investigation Section also attended the scene and the investigation is on going.
