Police investigate serious MVA on Peggy’s Cove Rd

Shortly after midnight, the Tantallon RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Prospect Road, which occurred when a vehicle went off the road, hitting a boulder in the Peggy’s Cove Preservation area.

Four people were taken to hospital. Life Flight was required to transport one of the injured persons, who is in critical, but stable condition at the QE2 hospital. Another person is in stable, non-critical condition. Two others sustained minor injuries.

RCMP Collision Analyst has examined the scene, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
