Police investigate sexual assault at Halifax waterfront

Halifax Regional Poli­ce responded to the H­alifax Waterfront are­a in relation to a se­xual assault complain­t.  A 17 year old cal­led police to report ­as he was sitting on ­a bench in the area a­nd an unknown man sat­ down next to him and­ sexually assaulted h­im by reaching under ­his clothes.  The 17 ­year old pushed his a­ssailant away and ran­ off.  The man was de­scribed as 40-50 year­s old, white, tall an­d skinny.  Officers h­ave yet to locate the­ suspect and the inve­stigation is continui­ng at this time.
